We are an up and coming single-family residential property management firm seeking an energetic and motivated Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective tenants, guiding them through the leasing process with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your expertise in real estate market analysis, negotiation, and customer service will help fill vacancies quickly while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations. Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective tenants through in-person tours, phone calls, and digital communication to showcase available properties and highlight their unique features.
- Conduct thorough real estate market analysis to determine competitive rental rates and develop effective marketing strategies that attract diverse applicants.
- Negotiate lease terms, rental prices, and move-in conditions with applicants, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that align with company policies and industry standards.
- Manage all aspects of the leasing process using sales technology adoption tools to streamline applications, background checks, and lease signing procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of property listings, applicant interactions, lease agreements, and compliance documentation in accordance with Fair Housing regulations and real estate law.
- Collaborate with property management teams to coordinate property showings, address maintenance requests promptly, and ensure a high level of customer service.
- Stay informed about industry trends and local real estate market developments to optimize leasing strategies and improve occupancy rates.
Experience
- Proven experience in real estate sales or property leasing, demonstrating strong negotiation and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with managing real estate teams or working within a property management environment is preferred.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse applicant pools.
- Knowledge of fair housing regulations, real estate law, and property management best practices is essential.
- Administrative experience in real estate or related fields will support efficient recordkeeping and organizational tasks.
- Comfort using sales technology tools and adopting new software solutions for leasing operations is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills combined with organizational skills ensure smooth interactions with clients and team members alike.
