Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and physiological evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions across various specialties such as internal medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, and behavioral health.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Cerner for accurate medical documentation, coding (CPT, ICD-10),
Skills
- Proven experience with eClinicalWorks or other EMR/EHR systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy knowledge, CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and medical documentation standards.
- Ability to manage triage calls efficiently while demonstrating excellent patient care skills across pediatric to geriatric populations.
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and sterile techniques;
- Strong communication skills combined with a passion for patient education and building long-term relationships are highly valued. Experience in a family practice or primary care is preferred.
