Job Summary
Adam Auto Group is seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated Sales Receptionist / BDC Representative to join our team.
This position combines front desk customer service with Business Development Center (BDC) responsibilities. You will be the first point of contact for many of our customers, helping manage incoming calls, respond to sales inquiries, schedule appointments, follow up with customers, and issue vehicle license plates and temporary registration permits.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers and create a welcoming first impression
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Respond promptly to internet leads, phone inquiries, and emails
- Schedule appointments for the sales team
- Follow up with customers by phone, and email
- Maintain accurate customer records in the dealership CRM
- Issue Illinois license plates, temporary registration permits, and out-of-state drive-away permits
- Verify required documents prior to vehicle delivery
- Maintain organized dealership paperwork and customer files
- Support the sales team in delivering an outstanding customer experience
- Perform general front office administrative duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous automotive dealership experience preferred
- Experience in a Business Development Center (BDC), receptionist, customer service, or automotive sales environment preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using computers and CRM software
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dealership environment
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Reliable and dependable
