Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze large datasets to identify trends and inform financial models
- Conduct quantitative research on market conditions, investment opportunities, and risk factors
- Assist in building and refining financial models for forecasting and valuation purposes
- Support the team with financial analysis related to mergers & acquisitions, credit assessments, and investment banking activities
- Write clear and comprehensive financial reports summarizing findings and insights
- Perform risk analysis and cash flow analysis to evaluate potential investments or transactions
- Utilize financial software tools to streamline data processing and statistical analysis
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
- Strong understanding of financial concepts such as valuation, risk analysis, cash flow analysis, and credit analysis
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and familiarity with financial software (e.g., Excel, R, Python)
- Solid math skills with the ability to perform quantitative research and modeling
- Knowledge of investment banking processes, mergers & acquisitions, and financial report writing is a plus
- Excellent analytical thinking with attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills for presenting complex data insights clearly
