Shipper/Receiver – Salem, NH (Commutable from Methuen, Lawrence, Haverhill, and Southern NH)
NOTE: Must be willing to commute to Peabody, MA until relocation (November/December)
Pay: $20–$21/hour
Schedule: 9/80 work schedule – every other Friday off
Mon–Thurs: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Fri: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Two paid breaks & a ½-hour unpaid lunch
On-site café and gym available
About the Role
We’re looking for experienced Shipper/Receivers to join our growing team in Salem, NH. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in an organized, fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly.
Our facility will be relocating from Peabody, MA to Salem, NH, and this role will remain based in that area. Candidates from Methuen, Lawrence, Haverhill, and nearby Southern NH towns are encouraged to apply.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare, pack, and ship outgoing materials and finished products according to company and customer requirements.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify materials, and deliver to designated drop-off locations throughout the facility.
- Generate outbound orders and monitor backlog to ensure on-time fulfillment.
- Pick, pack, and ship urgent service requests accurately and efficiently.
- Track shipments and monitor deliveries using SAP and other logistics software.
- Assist with resolving any shipping or receiving discrepancies.
- Create and maintain bills of lading, post shipment weights, and record shipping charges.
- Maintain compliance with all safety procedures, quality standards, and shipping regulations.
- Keep the work area organized, clean, and compliant with facility policies.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of shipping and receiving experience, ideally handling large or crated equipment.
- Strong understanding of shipping/receiving processes and documentation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Familiarity with SAP, UPS/FedEx software, or similar systems preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and multitasking skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Comfortable working in a team-driven environment with minimal supervision.
