Atlas Welding Supply, a leading distributor of industrial gases plus welding and safety supplies in Alabama, is seeking a CDL B or CDL A Truck Driver to join the team in Tuscaloosa, AL.
If you have a valid CDL Class B with Tanker & Hazmat endorsements, Atlas wants to hear from you! CDL A would be preferred.

Requirements:
- Class “B” CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements required. CDL “A” preferred.
- Able to drive tractor/trailers loaded with cylinders and freight and deliver goods to branch stores/customers.
- Must have a current DOT medical certificate.
- At least 24 months experience driving Class A vehicles preferred.
- Must be at 21 years of age (due to insurance reasons).
- Follow all procedures as outlined by DOT regulations and company policy.
- Physical requirements include: Lift/move up to 50-70 lbs., occasionally lift 150-750 lbs. with lifting device.
- Must have valid Driver’s License with good driving record.
- Drug screen, physical and background check required.
Essential duties/responsibilities:
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicle and all other appropriate paperwork.
- Fill out truck manifest prior to leaving store.
- Fill out daily trip records including logbook and duty sheets.
- Attend monthly safety meetings.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures as well as local, state and federal regulations and laws.
- Commit to high performance by maintaining regular, consistent attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health and safety procedures.
