We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Finance Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support daily financial and administrative operations by assisting with data management, account reconciliation, reporting, and documentation review. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and eager to grow within a fast-paced finance environment.
ResponsibilitiesFinancial Data Entry & Processing
- Review financial information and documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Enter and update financial data within internal systems and spreadsheets.
- Assist with invoice processing, expense tracking, and payment records.
- Maintain organized digital files and financial documentation in accordance with company procedures.
Financial Review & Reconciliation
- Audit records to ensure accuracy and consistency across financial reports and systems.
- Identify discrepancies or missing information and collaborate with team members to resolve issues.
- Assist with account reconciliations and transaction verification.
- Support month-end and year-end financial processes as needed.
Reporting & Administrative Support
- Prepare financial summaries, reports, and supporting documentation for management review.
- Assist with maintaining budgets, tracking expenses, and monitoring financial activity.
- Support general administrative and operational finance functions as assigned.
Quality Control & Compliance
- Review financial entries and reports for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and operational efficiency.
Communication & Team Support
- Respond to internal inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding financial documentation and reporting needs.
- Maintain a positive, collaborative, and customer-focused attitude while managing multiple priorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Prior internship, bookkeeping, or administrative experience is a plus, but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,665.00 - $53,958.00 per year
