Receptionist Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team. This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff while providing administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.
Essential Functions and Skills

Front Desk: Greet and assist visitors, manage check-ins, and maintain a professional reception area.

Answer phone calls: Answer calls promptly, professionally and forwarding calls to the correct person or extension
- Managing mail and packages: Handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Maintaining office supplies: Ordering supplies and working with maintenance.
- Maintaining records: Keeping office records up to date
- Performing clerical tasks: Provides clerical or administrative assistance on special projects, as needed

Providing customer service: Answering inquiries, giving instructions, solving problems, and providing advice and guidance.
- Time management: Prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and ensuring the reception area runs smoothly
- Office Coordination: Maintain office & kitchen supplies; coordinate service requests and ensure office equipment is operational. General housekeeping of main entrance area & break room. Assist with making coffee throughout the morning and restocking beverages; load/unload dishwasher. Order food for meetings and/or events.

Requirements/Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a receptionist.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Professional demeanor and positive attitude.

Detail oriented.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Ability to pass DHS background study.

The hourly base range for this role is $26-$27.00/hour. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: geographic location, relevant education, applicable certifications, depth of experience, and special skillsets. The total compensation package for this position may also include the opportunity to participate in employee benefits including our medical/dental/vision/pet insurance, disability and life insurance, paid time off, and 401(k) retirement plans, subject to applicable plan terms, and/or eligibility for other compensation.
