Position Details-

Key Responsibilities-
- Perform a variety of Radiation Oncology therapy procedures in accordance with established protocols.
- Operate radiation therapy equipment safely and effectively.
- Follow all patient safety protocols throughout the treatment process.
- Prepare and position patients accurately for radiation therapy procedures.
- Monitor patients throughout treatments and address concerns appropriately.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for patients during their therapy experience.
- Assist with department examinations, procedures, and treatments as ordered by physicians.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient and treatment documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure compliance with departmental policies, radiation safety standards, and applicable regulations.
- Provide compassionate, professional, and patient-centered care.
- Maintain a high standard of technical quality and accuracy in all radiation therapy procedures.
Required Qualifications -
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Current BLS certification.
- 1 year of previous Radiation Therapy experience strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of radiation therapy procedures and patient safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
Preferred Qualifications -
- Previous experience in a hospital or oncology setting.
- Experience with radiation oncology treatment procedures and equipment.
- Strong patient-care and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the Radiation Oncology team.
