OPERATIONS SUPPORT COORDINATOR - COMMERCIAL TANKLESS WATER HEATING
Facilities Resource Group (FRG) engineers, produces, installs and services commercial tankless water heating systems for clients across the United States. We specialize in delivering innovative and sustainable water heating solutions, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
SUMMARY: The Operations Support team provides administrative, operational support that allows the business to remain efficient in daily operations. Roles within this team require a collaborative work style, self-driven nature, proactive communication, initiative taking, organized work habits, a passion for customer service and excellent attention to detail.
JOB DETAILS:
- Location: Comstock Park, MI (Onsite)
- Type: Permanent w/ Benefits
- Pay: $20 - $24 / hour (BOE)
- Shift: Mon-Fri, 1st shift
- Reports to: Director of Business Operations
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Answer, make and transfer calls to/from customers, subcontractors and/or field technicians, escalating them to technical support as needed
- Contact customers to coordinate service call dates;
- Place follow-up calls to customers to discuss quotes and answer questions regarding quotes;
- Place follow-up calls to customers in a timely manner following service calls and new store installs;
- Enter subcontractor quotes in NetSuite;
- Email Purchase Orders for service scheduled;
- Verify details of Work Orders in Corrigo;
- Review technical support cases to verify accuracy, thoroughness and completion / close-out;
- Run weekly DOT compliance system reports and route to appropriate internal parties;
- Participate in after-hours call rotation per schedule;
SECONDARY / SHARED DUTIES:
- Demonstrate good judgment in taking in initiative, problem solving, shifting priorities and completing tasks in a timely manner within a fast-paced, collaborative environment;
- Demonstrate professionalism in all written and verbal communications;
- Make a concerted effort to be a part of a collaborative team;
- Occasionally assist the team with new hire training;
- Other documentation and/or tasks, as requested

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Understanding of/familiarity with construction project coordination / project-based documentation and workflows;
- Ability to frequently shift priorities or tasks throughout the day, but still complete them timely and accurately;
- Previous experience working as part of a collaborative team within a fast-paced environment;
- Experience handling a high volume of calls, emails and transactions in a fast-paced work environment;
- Familiarity with plumbing and/or plumbing systems ideal
REQUIREMENTS:
- MUST be of legal hiring age and legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship;
- MUST have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent;
- MUST be highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;
- MUST have 1-2 years of customer service experience;
- MUST have 1-2 yrs data entry (Oracle NetSuite ERP or CSM ideal);
- PREFER candidates who've worked with commercial contracts / projects ( i.e., mechanical contractors, architects, engineers).
