Ethereal Confections is hiring a chocolatier production assistant to help create high-quality, handcrafted chocolate at scale. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys focused, independent work, takes pride in efficiency, and can consistently produce clean, attractive products.
Our kitchen is focused and productive. Think headphones in, music or audiobooks on, and a team working efficiently toward daily production goals. If you enjoy that kind of workflow, you’ll fit right in!
Day in the Life
- Start your shift, grab your station, and get set up for production
- Put on your headphones (music, podcasts, audiobooks welcome)
- Work through batches of ganache, bars, or dipped confections
- Focus on clean technique, consistency, and speed
- Package finished products neatly and efficiently
- Reset your station, wash your dishes, and keep the kitchen clean & organized
- Work independently, with occasional check-ins and team coordination
What You’ll Do
- Assist with chocolate production (ganaches, centers, bars, dipped items)
- Package products with attention to detail and presentation
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Meet daily production goals and quotas
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Able to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining quality
- Strong attention to detail (appearance matters here)
- Comfortable with repetitive, hands-on work
- Able to take direction and improve quickly
- Self-motivated and focused
- Reliable and consistent
Bonus (not required): Commercial kitchen or food production experience
Physical Requirements
- Lift 40 lbs regularly, up to 60 lbs occasionally
- Stand for extended periods
