Join our dynamic team as a Car Wash Attendant / Shop Helper / Janitorial, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our automotive facility running smoothly and looking pristine! In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind vehicle exterior washing, interior detailing, and maintaining a clean, safe environment for both customers and staff. Your proactive approach will ensure every vehicle leaves our shop looking its best, while supporting the overall cleanliness and safety of our auto detailing facility. Duties
- Operate standard passenger cars and assist with vehicle movement within the facility using manual transmission vehicles when needed
- Perform vehicle exterior washing using appropriate cleaning equipment to achieve a spotless finish
- Conduct vehicle paint correction and buffing with automotive buffers to restore shine and remove surface imperfections
- Detail vehicle interiors by cleaning carpets, upholstery, windows, and dashboards to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain the cleanliness of the auto detailing facility by sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and sanitizing work areas regularly
- Use heavy lifting techniques safely to move supplies, equipment, or vehicles as required
- Support overall shop operations by assisting with custodial tasks such as restocking supplies and ensuring safe work practices are followed
Requirements
- Prior experience in auto detailing or auto shop environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of vehicle exterior washing techniques and interior cleaning methods
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, buffers, and vacuums safely and effectively
- Familiarity with standard passenger car operation and manual transmission driving is advantageous
- Strong commitment to safe work practices, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shifts
- Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with clients when needed
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided on specific procedures and safety protocols
