Position Overview
The Administrative Services Coordinator is often the first and last person students, families, and visitors interact with each day. This individual serves as the face of Mountain View Christian School by creating a welcoming, organized, and Christ-centered environment where every person feels seen, valued, and cared for. Essential Functions and Positional Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Maintain the front office area to ensure that all visitors, students, and staff are greeted with a warm, energetic, and professional atmosphere that is clean and functional.
- Manage sensitive or high-stress situations with patience, empathy, and professionalism.
- Monitor campus security by ensuring all visitors sign in, issue visitor badges, and direct visitors appropriately.
- Assist parents and students with routine office needs, school policies, schedules, and upcoming events.
- Manage multi-line phone system, screen and route calls, take detailed messages and respond to general inquiries.
- Monitor daily attendance, process tardy slips, early student sign-outs, and maintain accurate records.
- Manage minor student injuries, basic first aid, dispense medication according to school policies.
- Assist in implementing school emergency and safety procedures in a calm and efficient manner.
- Process incoming/outgoing mail, deliveries, packages and school correspondence.
- Maintain organized student and administrative records, assist with enrollment and withdrawal paperwork, prepare records and documents as requested, support document retention and organization.
- Provide general administrative assistance across departments by preparing copies, forms and correspondence.
- Maintain office supplies and coordinate ordering.
- Assist with filing and document management.
- Support school events with administrative preparation.
Qualifications
- Demonstrates strong organizational, decision-making, and leadership capabilities while involved in multiple tasks.
- Personal integrity, discretion and high emotional intelligence.
- Strict adherence to confidentiality laws and policies regarding student data and staff information.
- Proficiency with standard office software and the ability to quickly learn school management systems.
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
