Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling of goods including refrigerated items and heavy cargo
- Deliver freight efficiently while maintaining accurate documentation of shipments and delivery receipts
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before and after each trip
- Manage route driving responsibilities with precision, including planning optimal routes for timely deliveries
- Handle various types of trailers such as refrigerated trailer, dry van and possibly flatbed
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or any incidents encountered on the road
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving freight handling and route driving
- Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles and different trailer types (refrigerated trailers, flatbeds,
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to commercial driving and freight transportation
- Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections and documentation accuracy
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight schedulesj

Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,000.00 per week
