We are currently seeking a motivated Automotive Service Technician (Entry-Level to C-Level) to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working on vehicles, takes pride in quality of work, and wants to build a long-term career in the automotive industry.
This position works Monday – Friday from 8am-5pm with rotating Saturday mornings. We offer competitive pay, paid time off, health insurance reimbursement, 401(k), and Tenure Bonus Program.
About The Position:
As an Automotive Service Technician, you’ll perform routine maintenance, vehicle inspections and basic repairs based on your experience and skill level. If you are dependable, eager to learn and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to meet you.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance, which includes oil change, tire rotation and replacement, battery testing and replacement and other scheduled maintenance service.
- Complete GM Multi-Point Vehicle Inspections and accurately and recommend maintenance needs to the service advisor.
- Check and top off vehicle fluids including coolant, washer fluid, brake fluid, and other fluids as needed.
- Inspect tires, brakes, belts, hoses, lights, and other safety-related components.
- Maintain accurate repair orders and document all services performed.
- Safely operate customers vehicles in and around the dealership.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with all safety standards.
- Perform maintenance and repair work based on your experience level while continuing to develop technical skills.
- Ensure every vehicle is returned and clean and in excellent condition.
- Perform additional shop duties assigned.
Requirements:
- Previous automotive maintenance or repair experience is preferred but not required- we’re willing to train the right candidate.
- Valid driver’s license.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality of workmanship.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
