About the Role
As an Occupational Health and Safety Consultant, you will serve as a vital onsite representative, ensuring rigorous safety standards are upheld across complex construction environments. You will act as a dedicated safety coach, fostering a culture of proactive risk mitigation and operational excellence to protect personnel and project integrity.
Responsibilities-
Monitor site activities to ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance, acting as the primary eyes and ears for the project owner.

Conduct thorough hazard risk assessments and develop safe method working statements to prevent workplace incidents.

Perform detailed root cause analysis following any safety incidents to drive continuous improvement and prevent recurrence.

Maintain precise daily documentation and weekly reporting using digital tools to ensure transparent communication with stakeholders.

Engage with project teams as a mentor and safety coach, promoting a collaborative approach to hazard identification rather than a punitive one.

Oversee safety measures related to high-voltage electrical work, ensuring compliance with NFPA 70E standards.

Extensive experience in mission-critical construction or large-scale data center projects.

Deep understanding of OSHA 500/510 standards and regional health and safety regulations.

Proven ability to manage occupational health and safety systems such as ISO 45001 or OHSAS 18001.

Strong technical proficiency for digital reporting and documentation management.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective liaison between owners and general contractors.

Bachelor’s degree in Health and Safety or a related field.

BCSP CHST certification.

Specific expertise in high-voltage safety environments.
