Field Service Engineer - Metals Background
Leading manfuacturing company is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer in the Norcross, GA area. This company is known for its commitment to innovation and excellence in the industrial machinery sector, providing top-notch service to its clients.
Shift of the Field Service Engineer:
M-F / 8am -5pm if in office. Traveling overnight and weekdays.
Salary of the Field Service Engineer:
$65K - $75K/yr
Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer:
- Installation, start-up, commissioning, and testing of machinery purchased by customers.
- Provide technical assistance during and after the warranty period, either on-site or remotely.
- Train customer employees and other services on the delivered equipment.
- Conduct customer demonstrations and sample/prototype part manufacturing.
- Perform other tasks as required, including frequent weekday overnight travel.
Qualifications of the Field Service Engineer:
- 2-year degree or 4 years of military experience in a mechanical/electrical field.
- 3 or more years of industrial machinery troubleshooting and field service experience.
- Willingness to travel 50%-75% after training.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; conversational Spanish is a plus.
- Strong safety record and customer service-oriented personality.
