Doria Therapeutic Group, PLLC is actively expanding and seeking passionate, motivated Limited Permit Mental Health Counselors (MHC-LP) who are looking for a supportive clinical home where they can grow, receive structured supervision, and build a meaningful caseload.

This is a part-time, remote/hybrid, W-2 fee-for-service clinical position.

Strong Referral Flow
We work to help build and maintain your caseload so you can focus on providing high-quality clinical care rather than searching for patients on your own.
Flexible Scheduling
Sessions may be scheduled between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM, Monday through Sunday, based on patient needs, Practice needs, and your approved availability. Evening and/or weekend availability is strongly encouraged and helps support caseload growth.
Remote/Hybrid Clinical Work
Clinicians primarily provide telehealth services through Practice-approved systems, with required in-person collaboration, supervision, and/or meetings as assigned by the Practice. Quarterly in-person meetings are held at a Pelham/New Rochelle, NY location unless otherwise notified.
Structured Supervision & Mentorship
As an MHC-LP, you will receive supervision in accordance with NYSED requirements and DTG policy. DTG’s current supervision structure consists of approximately 75% individual supervision and 25% Group Team Supervision.
You will receive one hour of individual supervision each week, except on the first Tuesday of each month. On the first Tuesday of each month, you will attend one hour of mandatory Group Team Supervision instead of individual supervision.
Quarterly Staff Meetings/QSM are held on the first Tuesday of each quarter and are aligned with the monthly Group Team Supervision schedule. During quarterly months, both Group Team Supervision and the Quarterly Staff Meeting/QSM are held in person at a Pelham/New Rochelle, NY location, unless otherwise notified by the Practice.
Administrative Support So You Can Focus on Care
DTG provides administrative and operational support so clinicians can focus on patient care. Clinicians have access to SimplePractice for scheduling, documentation, billing, communication, and telehealth, along with other Practice-approved systems.
Role Responsibilities
In this role, you may provide direct patient care services, including:
- Conducting intake assessments
- Providing individual psychotherapy
- Providing couples therapy, family psychotherapy, and/or group therapy as assigned
- Developing treatment plans and supporting patient progress
- Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Participating in supervision, case consultation, team collaboration, and required trainings
- Complying with all DTG policies related to documentation, scheduling, clinical care, confidentiality, telehealth, and professional conduct
- Maintaining a HIPAA-compliant remote work environment
All services must be provided consistent with your limited permit, training, competence, supervision requirements, and Practice policies.
Compensation Structure
DTG utilizes a two-rate compensation structure:
CLN-Direct — Billable Clinical Services
You will be paid $35 per clinical hour/session for approved billable direct clinical services.
ADM-All — Non-Billable Administrative and Professional Duties
You will be paid $20 per hour for approved non-billable administrative and professional duties, including supervision, mandatory meetings, training, administrative tasks, case conferences, outreach, program development, quality assurance activities, and other non-billable duties assigned or approved by the Practice.
Required onboarding, orientation, supervision, mandatory meetings, and Practice-required trainings are paid at the ADM-All rate, unless otherwise stated in writing and permitted by applicable law.
Availability Expectations
Clinicians are expected to maintain a minimum of twenty (20) clinical hours of availability per week, including some evening and/or weekend availability, unless otherwise approved in writing by the Practice.
Expected caseload may vary based on referrals, availability, patient fit, documentation compliance, and Practice needs.

QualificationsRequired
- Active New York State Limited Permit as a Mental Health Counselor, MHC-LP
- Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related qualifying field
- Residence in New York State
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to maintain a private, HIPAA-compliant remote work environment
- Reliable internet connection
- Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while actively participating in supervision and team collaboration
- Willingness to maintain evening and/or weekend availability as part of approved clinical availability
Preferred
- Prior clinical experience through employment, internship, practicum, or field placement
- Experience with SimplePractice or another EHR system
- Interest in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, OCD, life transitions, relationship concerns, and related clinical presentations
- Individual NPI number
- Completed CAQH profile
- Active malpractice insurance, if required by the Practice, payers, or applicable professional standards
