Position Summary
The Ground Support Associate plays a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and professional operations on the airport ramp and within facility areas. This position supports aircraft handling, customer service, and facility upkeep, including janitorial responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with aircraft arrival and departure procedures.
- Tow, park, and reposition aircraft under supervision and in accordance with safety guidelines.
- operate ground support equipment such as tugs, fuel trucks, GPUs, and ladders.
- Load and unload baggage, cargo, and supplies
- Fuel aircraft following proper procedures and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free ramp area.
Facility & Janitorial Duties
- Clean and maintain FBO lobby, restrooms, offices, hangar, and public areas
- Perform routine janitorial tasks including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and surface cleaning
- Keep maintenance shops and storage areas organized and free of debris.
- Support general facility upkeep as directed by management.
Customer & Team Support
- Provide friendly, professional service to pilots, passengers, and crew.
- Assist in maintenance and operations teams with equipment movement and workspace preparation.
- follow all safety, security, and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (typically up to 50lbs.)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Prior experience helpful but not required
