About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled, tech-savvy, and bilingual (English & Spanish) professional with strong experience in retail, thrift store operations, and online resale platforms to join our team. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves selling and turning inventory into profit, and is passionate about both in-store and digital resale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle operations for Facebook Marketplace, eBay, and other digital resale platforms (listing, pricing, photography, customer communication, and sales)
- Handle daily retail and thrift store operations including merchandising, store presentation, and inventory management
- Process sales using POS systems, handle cash, cards, and digital payments with accuracy
- Provide excellent customer service in both English and Spanish to in-store and online customers
- Manage shipping, packaging, and fulfillment for online orders (including labeling, barcoding, and preparing items for shipment)
- Perform inventory tasks such as barcoding, tagging, organizing, and tracking stock
- Drive sales through effective merchandising, upselling, and strategic pricing
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment
- Troubleshoot basic computer, POS, and platform-related issues
- Communicate professionally with customers in both English and Spanish
Requirements:
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) — required
- Proven experience with Facebook Marketplace, eBay, and other online selling platforms
- Strong retail/thrift store background with hands-on experience in merchandising and sales
- Comfortable with computers, POS systems, inventory software, and basic tech troubleshooting
- Experience with cash handling, shipping, packaging, and barcoding
- Excellent customer service and sales skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Reliable transportation and ability to lift up to 30–50 lbs when needed
- Passion for resale, thrifting, and maximizing item value
