Duties
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival, providing friendly and professional service
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
- Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times and reservations
- Assist guests with seating preferences and special requests to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction
Experience
- Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced food service or restaurant environment preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality and guest relations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience in hotel or guest services can enhance your ability to anticipate guest needs
- Knowledge of serving protocols, restaurant operations, and hospitality standards is advantageous
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude

Pay: $12.77 - $13.00 per hour
