At Sprouts, we create spaces for the natural growth and development of children ages 6 weeks to 6 years in beautiful, intentionally designed indoor and outdoor environments. Our job is to keep our environments prepared, supervise and observe each individual, and offer guidance and support as needed.
Classroom Assistant
Full-time: Monday - Friday 8am-3pm or 8:15am - 5:15pm
Starting Salary: $19.00-$22.50 per hour based on experience
Paid time off, five weeks scheduled vacation, 401k
The Classroom Assistant helps keep the environment prepared, closely observes the children, and attends to their needs.
Responsibilities include offering comfort and care to children ages 12-36m, and working with the classroom teacher to implement the Montessori program.

Required Qualifications (can be obtained upon hire):
Registration with Oregon Central Background Registry
Current CPR/First Aid, RRCAN, Introduction to Health and Safety, Prevention is Better Than Treatment, Oregon Safe Sleep for Infants, Foundations of Learning, 30 additional hours of Infant/Toddler Training, and Food Handler Card (these trainings can be obtained upon hire).
