Position- Patient Registration Specialist- Labs
Duration- 6-month contract to hire
Location- Greater Manchester Hospital- 71 Haynes Street, Manchester, CT
Shift- 1 Day shift- 7am-3:30pm; 2 Evening shift- 3pm-11:30pm; Night shift- 11pm-7am
Pay Rate- $20-$23/hour
Interview Process- One 15-minute In person interview with site Manager
Interview Availability- Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Day to Day-
A largest healthcare systems is seeking a Laboratory Registration Specialist to support a high-volume laboratory operations team. This individual will be responsible for reviewing and scanning laboratory requisitions, accurately completing patient registrations, and verifying insurance information to ensure timely and accurate billing. The ideal candidate will have strong registration experience, excellent attention to detail, and familiarity with Epic applications.
Must Haves-
- 1+ year's working experience verify patient demographics, insurance coverage, and eligibility to support accurate billing.
- Experience working with Epic- Prelude or Cadence preferred
- Work through a daily queue of approximately 300-500 registrations/requisitions while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
- Knowledge of healthcare insurance plans, eligibility verification, and registration best practices.
- High School Diploma
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
