Responsibilities
- Open the store by preparing food items, brewing coffee, and setting up equipment for the day’s service
- Operate POS systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Greet customers with enthusiasm, take orders, and upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, bar, and food prep stations through sanitation practices
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and accountability during register operations
- Support team members with basic food service tasks like food prep, stocking supplies, and assisting in kitchen operations
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation or quick service & fast food restaurant environments
- Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transactions
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to multitask effectively while managing time in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing
- Previous restaurant or café experience is highly valued; retail or grocery store background is a plus
