We are seeking a heavy-hitting operational leader to spearhead our regional growth and hold our operations to the highest standards. We operate across more than 6,500 square miles with seven locations throughout the Colorado River Basin in both Arizona and California.
Role Overview
The General Manager will champion the growth and operational success of our premier, multi-site towing and transportation company. Operating in the demanding environments of the Mohave and Sonoran deserts, this vital, hands-on role requires a resilient leader with the physical stamina to thrive in the field and the excitement to learn front-line towing skills from the ground up.
No two days are alike in our 24/7 operation, and an adaptive leader will truly thrive in our ever-changing environment. In this role, you will seamlessly blend high-level strategy with hands-on leadership, which includes leading from the front line when necessary. You will be directly responsible for traveling across all sites to engage with our incredible 40-person workforce, cultivating a safety-first culture, ensuring full roadside compliance, maintaining robust financial health, and elevating our vital relationships with municipal and law enforcement partners.
Key Strategic Responsibilities
- Workforce Leadership & Culture: Lead, coach, and develop a workforce of approximately 40 employees which includes managers, dispatchers, drivers, and administrative staff. All while fostering a positive, safety-focused, and customer-oriented culture.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee multi-site, day-to-day operations, optimizing dispatch efficiency, response times, and fleet maintenance across all seven locations.
- Compliance & Regulatory Oversight: Lead all compliance initiatives to ensure adherence to company policies, government agency requirements, contract performance standards, and applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, while minimizing organizational risk and maintaining operational excellence.
- Financial Oversight: Oversee the company's financial performance by managing budgets, cash flow, and financial controls; establishing and monitoring key performance indicators; driving profitability and operational efficiency; and providing strategic analysis and recommendations to support sustainable growth and long-term success.
- Community & Partner Relations: Serve as the senior liaison for law enforcement, municipal agencies, and contracted partners to strengthen long-term relationships.
Qualifications
- Leadership Background: 5–7 years of operations, logistics, or fleet management leadership experience, with a proven track record in complex, multi-site environments.
- People Management: Exceptional ability to manage, develop, and hold teams accountable.
- Financial & Strategic Acumen: Strong background in budget ownership, cost control, and executing corporate growth initiatives.
- Compliance Knowledge: Deep understanding of transportation safety procedures, roadside compliance, and DOT/FMCSA mandates.
- Logistics & Execution: Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-management skills.
- Requirements: Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR; ability to pass a background check and drug screen. Degree preferred, or equivalent field experience.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $100,000–$125,000 (commensurate with experience)
Bonus: Performance-based bonus structure

Job Details
- Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403 (relocation assistance available)
- Schedule: Full-time, in-person, with availability to support a 24/7 operation as needed
- Travel: Regular travel required across all seven company locations, along with travel to accident scenes as necessary. A company vehicle will be provided that is outfitted with our driver compliance system, Samsara.
Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
