Are you the kind of person who lights up a room, puts nervous people at ease in thirty seconds, and genuinely loves helping? We're looking for a warm, outgoing, people-first communicator to be the face and voice of our firm at the most important moment in a client's case: the very beginning.
When someone is injured and overwhelmed, you'll be the person who makes them feel heard, earns their trust, helps them confidently decide to let us fight for them — and then stays by their side through the confusing early days, answering every worried question along the way. You'll turn anxious first calls into signed, reassured, well-cared-for clients. We're hiring 2–3 people for this role.
This job is equal parts building trust and signing new clients and caring for them afterward — you need to love both.
What You'll Do
Win the client's trust and get them signed up
- Be the welcoming first point of contact for people reaching out after an injury.
- Build instant rapport, listen closely, and explain in clear, reassuring terms how the firm can help.
- Guide prospective clients confidently to the decision to hire us, and complete their sign-up paperwork.
- Respond quickly to inquiries and follow up promptly with new and prospective clients.
Care for clients through the early case
- Be a steady, reassuring point of contact while a case is new and the client is uncertain.
- Explain what to expect in plain language and set clear expectations about next steps and timelines.
- Check in regularly, and surface and resolve concerns before they become problems.
Help clients navigate the practical worries
- Coordinate property damage repairs and rental vehicle arrangements.
- Help clients set up and manage insurance claims.
- Guide clients through Personal Injury Protection (PIP) benefits.
- Assist with wage-loss claims and the documentation they require.
Keep things organized and work as a team
- Maintain accurate, organized client records and case notes in our case management system.
- Partner with attorneys, case managers, and support staff to deliver a smooth client experience.
- Follow established office procedures and workflows. (This role does not provide legal advice; our attorneys handle all legal questions.)
Who You Are
- Bright, warm, and outgoing — people naturally feel comfortable with you, and you enjoy connecting with new people all day.
- Persuasive and confident — you're comfortable guiding someone to a decision and asking them to take the next step, without ever being pushy.
- Attuned and patient — you read what a client needs, and you have the warmth to hand-hold someone through weeks of worry, not just close a conversation.
- Organized and dependable, able to juggle several clients at once without dropping details.
- A proactive problem-solver who follows through.
- Someone who builds trust easily with people from diverse backgrounds.
Required Qualifications
- Full professional fluency in English and Spanish — written and verbal.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with an energetic, personable style.
- Comfort persuading and building rapport with new people.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A professional, compassionate demeanor.
- Availability for part-time work, including some evening hours / weekend hours / occasional after-hours follow-up.
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience in sales, client conversion, hospitality, retail, or any role where winning people over was part of the job.
- 1+ year of customer service or client-facing experience.
- Personal injury or other law firm experience, or experience with insurance claims.
- Front desk, receptionist, or call-center experience.
- Experience with case management software.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (occasional local travel to meet clients may be needed; most work happens by phone, text, and video).
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-time, approximately [15–25] hours per week, Monday–Friday and occasional weekends.
- Occasional after-hours follow-up calls, by arrangement.
- Pay: $15–$17 per hour, depending on experience.
