Overview:
We are a regional CPA firm seeking an experienced Controller to provide financial leadership and strategic support to our not-for-profit clients. This role partners closely with client leadership to drive financial planning, reporting, and operational success in alignment with each organization’s mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis for multiple clients
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Advise leadership on financial strategy, risks, and opportunities
- Present financial insights to clients, boards, and stakeholders
- Build and maintain strong client relationships; contribute to business development
- Manage, mentor, and oversee accounting staff and project execution
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required
- 7+ years of public accounting experience; not-for-profit experience preferred
- Strong financial analysis, reporting, and compliance knowledge
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proven ability to manage teams and client relationships
Pay: $135,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
