Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Youth Soccer Director to lead and inspire young athletes in our community. As the Youth Soccer Director, you will oversee all aspects of the soccer program, from coaching and training to organizing competitions and ensuring a positive, inclusive environment for all participants. Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and lead youth soccer practices, games, and tournaments that promote skill development and sportsmanship.
- Recruit, train, and supervise assistant coaches and volunteers to ensure high-quality coaching standards.
- Develop age-appropriate curriculum that incorporates fundamental soccer techniques alongside character-building lessons such as teamwork and discipline.
- Monitor player behavior on and off the field, applying behavior management strategies to foster a respectful environment.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities, including proper equipment checks and emergency procedures.
- Promote inclusivity by encouraging participation across diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
Requirements
- Prior experience in soccer coaching or teaching physical education, preferably with youth populations.
- Background in soccer coaching or playing at a competitive level; coaching certifications are a plus.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support positive conduct among young athletes.
- Skills in organizing sports activities, managing teams, and fostering team spirit.
- Ability to demonstrate leadership with enthusiasm while maintaining safety standards at all times.
