Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Dump Truck Driver/Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy construction machinery, including dump trucks, excavators, loaders, and backhoes, to support excavation, grading, and utility work on various construction sites. Duties
- Safely operate dump trucks, excavators, loaders, backhoes, and other construction machinery in accordance with federal safety standards and company policies
- Transport materials such as dirt, gravel, and debris to and from construction sites efficiently and responsibly
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Assist with construction grading, excavation, and utility locating tasks as needed to support project requirements
- Follow all safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and construction site protocols
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment needs and site operations effectively
Experience
- Proven experience operating commercial trucks and heavy construction machinery such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, and Caterpillar equipment
- Strong knowledge of construction utility work including utility locating techniques and excavation procedures
- Familiarity with federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures
- Mechanical aptitude for performing routine maintenance on construction machinery
- Prior experience working on large-scale construction sites with a focus on excavation, grading, or utility installation
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record preferred
- Construction site experience emphasizing safety regulations and heavy equipment operation is highly desirable

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
