We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to join our dynamic mental health and behavioral services team. In this vital role, you will provide expert counseling and therapeutic interventions to individuals, families, and groups, fostering positive change and resilience. Your work will focus on assessing client needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapies that promote mental well-being. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify mental health needs and develop tailored treatment strategies.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, art therapy, and applied behavior analysis.
- Manage crisis situations with effective crisis intervention techniques, ensuring client safety and stability.
- Collect and document medical records, treatment progress notes, and therapy outcomes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Coordinate case management activities including intake procedures, treatment planning, and follow-up care to ensure continuity of services.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patients with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, or gender issues counseling.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral health and mental health counseling.
Skills
- Proven experience working with children, families, or individuals with disabilities in home or community care settings.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, documentation standards, and HIPAA compliance for patient privacy.
- Expertise in addiction counseling, crisis management, conflict resolution, and behavior management techniques.
- Skilled in data collection for tracking treatment progress and outcomes effectively.
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation tools for mental health conditions such as PTSD or autism spectrum disorder.
- Ability to perform intake assessments and conduct psychotherapy sessions using evidence-based approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy or applied behavior analysis.
- Excellent communication skills for working with diverse populations while maintaining sensitivity to cultural differences.

Pay: $55.00 - $70.00 per hour
