SERHHS (Southeast Regional Health and Human Services) is a small business serving southeast, Pennsylvania. We provide services to individuals with intellectual disability, autism or dually diagnosed with both.
SERHHS is seeking a Part-Time DSP for the Annville area, 3 days a week. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct support to individuals in their homes, in the community, and in other settings. This includes helping them with daily living activities, providing emotional support, teaching new skills, working on ISP goals, and advocating for their rights. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and an understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance to individuals with disabilities in their daily activities.
- Assist with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support individuals in developing and maintaining independent living skills.
- Provide transportation for individuals to appointments and activities.
- Maintain accurate records of services provided.
- Provide emotional support to individuals and their families.
- Communicate effectively with other staff members and supervisors.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
