Full-Time Middle & High School Instructor - ELA and Social Studies
North Miami Beach Academy is seeking a passionate and engaging Full-Time Instructor to join our team beginning August 2026. Our fully accredited private school is uniquely located on the beautiful campus of Florida International University Biscayne Bay, offering small class sizes and a supportive academic environment focused on student success.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate is a certified Florida educator with experience teaching at the elementary and middle school levels. We are looking for a dynamic professional who can create an engaging classroom experience while effectively utilizing digital curriculum platforms and technology-based instruction.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality instruction to elementary and middle school students in a small group setting
- Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
- Utilize digital learning platforms and classroom technology effectively
- Foster a positive, student-centered learning environment
- Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with parents and administration
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and school activities as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Teaching Certification required
- Certified to teach at the middle or high school level
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Comfortable using digital curriculum platforms and educational technology
- Ability to create an engaging and interactive learning experience
- Second language proficiency is a plus, particularly:
- Spanish
- Russian
- French
- German
