Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and vigilant NYS Certified Security professional to join our security team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment across our facilities by implementing effective security protocols, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding swiftly to incidents. Your expertise in law enforcement, conflict management, and emergency response will be essential in safeguarding personnel, property, and assets.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify potential security risks
- Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, including conflicts or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills
- Verify the identity of visitors to control access points in accordance with security protocols
- Administer first aid or CPR when necessary, providing immediate assistance until emergency services arrive
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incident reports
Experience
- Valid NYS Security Guard Certification with current licensing requirements met
- Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles demonstrating strong situational awareness
- Training or certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable
- Proven ability to handle conflicts professionally while maintaining composure under pressure
- Familiarity with security procedures and emergency response protocols
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 – 16.0 per week
