Here’s a unique opportunity to join a leading manufacturer/distributor. We are currently seeking a Warehouse Clerk for our growing Port Saint Lucie, Florida office. We are hiring for Part-time positions with an opportunity for growth.
POSITION: Warehouse Clerk
REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager
LOCATION: Port Saint Lucie, Florida
HOURS: Varied, typically Monday – Friday 8:00am – 3:00am
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will be responsible for performing all activities associated with warehouse functions. The successful candidate will be able to follow direction provided by the warehouse manager. Day to day duties will include:
- Picking and packing orders
- Transfers between pick and bulk locations
- Product repackaging
- Receiving
- Processing order transactions for EDI declarations and Labeling
- Shipping in UPS / FedEx applications
- Inventory Audit
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Safely perform all warehouse activities as directed
- Experience in FedEx and UPS shipping and software programs
- Follow and maintain safety procedures
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for repetitive tasks
- Able to lift 30+lb
- Detail and multi-task oriented.
- Experience with hand-held barcode scanners
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work well on a team
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced, changing environment
