Responsibilities
- Supervise daily bar operations, including food and beverage service, ensuring smooth workflow and timely delivery.
- Lead, motivate, and train bar staff on customer service excellence, food preparation, POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, and food safety protocols.
- Oversee inventory control, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal product availability.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, perform cash handling duties, and reconcile daily sales reports.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food handling, kitchen management, and alcohol service.
- Manage shift schedules, assign tasks to team members, and support staffing needs during busy periods.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere for guests by delivering outstanding customer service and resolving any issues promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience as a bartender or bar supervisor.
- Demonstrated ability in inventory control, food management, and food safety standards.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in staff training, supervising teams, and managing restaurant or hospitality operations.
- Skilled in cash handling, budgeting, shift management, and restaurant management practices.
- Background in fine dining or casual dining environments with banquet or catering experience preferred.
- Effective communication skills for interviewing candidates, training staff, and managing customer relations.
