Job Overview
Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly accounting functions within B2K’s construction division. This is a hands- on, independent role that offers an opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team. A successful candidate will be self-motivated, and an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

Duties & Responsibilities
· Perform weekly/monthly cash and bank account reconciliations.
· Review balance sheet supporting schedules for accuracy.
· Process and prepare monthly, quarterly and year end closing entries.
· Manage day-to-day accounting activities for multiple entities.
· Compile weekly payroll hours for submission.
· Review timely allocation of costs/overheads and intercompany billing.
· Compile and report monthly, quarterly and annual sales tax returns for multiple entities.
· Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports/statements in accordance with GAAP.
· Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
· Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for discrepancies.
· Assist in financial audits and tax filings.
· Maintaining schedules such as prepaid, accruals and fixed assets.
· Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable and receivable.
· Other Ad hoc tasks as needed by the management.
Qualifications & Experience
· Four-year degree in Accounting or Finance required.
· At least 4 years of construction accounting experience.
· At least 3 years of experience with Sage (Intacct, Timberline etc) software and QuickBooks.
· Multi-site/multi-company or multi-state corporate accounting/finance experience
· CPA designation a plus but not required.
· Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office suite
· Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to maintain confidential information.
· The ability to interact with a diverse group of individuals at all levels within the organization.
· Spanish speaking preferred but not required.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
