Responsibilities
- Lead daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, kitchen management, and customer service to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, development, and performance evaluations to build a high-performing team.
- Oversee inventory control, food safety compliance, and food handling procedures to maintain quality standards.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting.
- Implement shift management strategies to optimize staffing levels and operational flow during busy periods.
- Conduct profit and loss analysis to monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and identify opportunities for growth.
- Ensure adherence to health regulations, food safety standards, and sanitation practices across all departments.
- Foster a welcoming hospitality environment that emphasizes excellent customer service and memorable dining experiences.
- Coordinate catering, banquet events, or special promotions to enhance revenue streams.
- Lead team training initiatives focused on culinary skills, food safety management, and hospitality best practices.
Experience
- Proven management experience in quick service or fast food restaurants with a strong background in food industry operations.
- Extensive hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management.
- Demonstrated success supervising hospitality teams in casual dining or fine dining settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis within a restaurant environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams through training & development initiatives.
- Prior experience managing catering or banquet services is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and food handling procedures across various culinary settings including hotel or coffee shop environments.
- Excellent communication skills with experience interviewing staff members and conducting performance reviews.
