<Responsibilities>
- Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and answer questions about food and beverages with enthusiasm.
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Manage tables efficiently by bussing, resetting, and ensuring guest comfort throughout their visit.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining proper sanitation and food safety protocols.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation times and ensure timely service.
- Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to optimize seating arrangements and reduce wait times.
- Maintain excellent guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and fostering a welcoming environment.
- Support food handling and sanitation standards to ensure compliance with health regulations in both fine dining and casual settings.
<Qualifications>
- Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Strong culinary knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to enhance guest experiences.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly.
- Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and billing purposes.
