Overview
Here at the Hungry Pilot we are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while crafting high-quality beverages and ensuring a memorable dining experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking drink orders, and offering recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and restocking supplies as needed.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, ensuring proper use of the Rezku POS system for order processing.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to guests at the bar or dining area.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere to all local laws regarding alcohol service.
- Perform opening and closing duties.
- Assist with tracking inventory
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar for special events or banquets as required.
Experience
- Previous experience in a bartending role is required.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, drink recipes, and cocktail preparation techniques.
- Exceptional hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to work occasional day and weekend shifts
