The BEST WESTERN PLUS Thousand Oaks Inn is for qualified candidates for the Hotel Housekeeping. ROOM ATTENDANT is responsible for performing housekeeping duties to ensure clean and sanitary rooms and all areas of the hotel by performing the following duties.
1. Completes assignment sheets and reports any room discrepancies and maintenance issues to the housekeeping supervisor.*
2. Ensures that carts are clean, neat, and stocked with supplies daily.*
3. Mops vacant room floors and cleans mops after use.*
4. Washes windows and window coverings in vacant rooms as needed.*
5. Dusts all counter tops, bedroom dresser tops, and furniture as needed.*
6. Reports any broken items, including beds, chairs, and fixtures to management.*
7. Reports any light bulbs that need replacing.*
8. Ensures all unnecessary lights are turned off.*
9. Cleans and disinfects sinks, toilets, and tub-showers.*
10. Restocks soap and toilet paper, and provides clean towels as needed.*
11. Cleans entire room thoroughly, including: washing windows; dusting countertops, dresser tops, lamps, and light bulbs; and replacing light bulbs as needed.*
12. Makes beds with clean linens.*
13. Empties all trash cans on a daily basis and disposes of trash in designated areas, and recycles appropriate materials according to company procedures.*
14. Provides assistance to other departments of the hotel to contribute to its smooth operation.*
15. Cleans and folds linens.
16. Picks up trash around hotel.*
17. Takes items to guests as requested by guests and front desk personnel, including: ashtrays, towels, washcloths, blankets, more coffee, condiments, and remote control for TV.*
18. Cleans rooms when necessary.*
19. Performs other jobs as required by Housekeeping Supervisor, Executive Housekeeper or Executive Management.

Compensation:
$9.50 - $10.50 per hour include medical, dental, vision, 401k, flexible spending
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
