Job Summary:
We're seeking a detail-oriented Drafter to join our team and support our surveying operations. This role involves creating precise CAD drawings and assisting with project workflows. No prior surveying experience is required—we provide comprehensive in-house training. If you have a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and experience in a professional setting, you'll thrive here. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CAD drafting for surveys, site plans, and related documents using Carlson Survey PC (preferred but not required; training provided).
- Digitize construction plans and incorporate them into project files (a plus if experienced).
- Assist surveyors with administrative tasks, such as organizing field data and developing efficient workflows.
- Collaborate with office admins to share drafting techniques and support team training initiatives.
- Ensure all work meets our high standards for accuracy and detail.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in CAD drafting software with a strong attention to detail.
- General workforce experience (e.g., in drafting, admin, or technical roles) is valuable but not mandatory.
- Excellent work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to commute to our Fairview office within 45 minutes.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in drafting or related field preferred.
