Tire Technician Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tire Technician for commercial and passenger vehicle's to join our team working mixed hours day time and over night 6-7 days weekly. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tire service and lite automotive repair, with the ability to perform various tasks related to tire installation, maintenance, mobile tire services and diagnostics. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform tire installations, rotations, alignments, brake services and suspension repair with precision and care.
- Conduct thorough inspections of tires for wear and damage, recommending replacements as necessary.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tire services.
- Assist customers with tire selection based on their vehicle needs and driving habits.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in tire technology.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in tire service or automotive repair is preferred.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and mechanics is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for tire handling.
- Strong sales skills to assist customers in selecting the right products for their vehicles.
- Proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Previous experience working in a dealership setting is advantageous but not required.
- A valid driver's license is necessary for this position.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week

Do you have a valid driver licence?
Are you able to dismount and mount tires 15-24 inches using a tire machine with no assistance?
Do you have the abilty and confidence to run a tire shop/ warehouse by yourself?
Can you do a wheel alignment with no assitance?
Can you change brakes and rotors on passenger & Commercial vehicles/ trucks?
Do you have automotive skills and exprience?
Can you change commerical/ Big rigs/ Dump truck vehicle tires 19.5, 22.5 24.5 with no assistance?
Are you available to work days/graveyard shifts with mixed hours.
Must be comfortable working in extreme weather conditions
Experience:
- Mounting tires 15-26 Inches with no assistance: 3 years (Required)
