CDL Class B Driver – Flatbed/Box Truck (Full-Time)
Location: Fairfield, NJ (Tri-State Area Routes)
Overview
Join a fast-paced and growing courier and logistics team as a CDL Class B Driver! In this role, you’ll be responsible for making daily route deliveries throughout the tri-state and surrounding areas using flatbed and box trucks. We’re looking for a reliable, safety-focused professional who thrives on the road and takes pride in delivering freight efficiently and on time.
This role requires regular long-distance driving, flexibility for occasional overtime, and the ability to confidently navigate high-traffic areas in NYC's five boroughs.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class B commercial vehicles (flatbed and box trucks) on assigned routes
- Deliver, load, and unload materials efficiently and securely
- Adhere to delivery schedules and ensure timely freight delivery
- Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit
- Maintain accurate manifests, delivery logs, and proof of delivery (POD)
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Comply with all company policies, DOT, and FMCSA regulations
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid CDL Class B license with a clean driving record
- Current DOT medical card required
- Proven commercial driving and route delivery experience
- Experience with flatbeds, box trucks, and load securing techniques
- Ability to operate safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with Mobiletek App or similar program
- Forklift experience is a plus
Position Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, core hours 5:30 AM – 1:30 PM
- Overtime: May be required based on business needs
- Travel: Regular local and regional (tri-state area) routes and NYC
- Compensation: Competitive; based on experience
Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
