Independent Cleaning Contractor (Commercial Cleaning)
Cherokee Cleaning Company is seeking experienced Independent Cleaning Contractors (1099) to provide commercial cleaning services for professional office buildings throughout the greater Knoxville, TN area.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced cleaners or small cleaning businesses looking to add recurring commercial accounts to their schedule.
Compensation
- Pay is per cleaning job, not hourly.
- Average earnings are approximately $30/hour, depending on the assigned account and efficiency.
- Bi-weekly payments.
Responsibilities
- Perform commercial cleaning services according to each client's scope of work.
- Clean office buildings, medical offices, and other commercial facilities to a high standard.
- Ensure all assigned work is completed thoroughly and professionally.
- Maintain excellent attention to detail.
- Communicate promptly regarding scheduling, supply needs, or account concerns.
- Correct any deficiencies identified during quality inspections.
Requirements
- Extensive commercial cleaning experience (required).
- Reliable transportation.
- Must provide your own cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work.
- Strong communication skills and reliability.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to legally work in the United States.
- Business liability insurance is preferred but not required.
- Must be willing to service accounts throughout the greater Knoxville area.
Independent Contractor Position
This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity, not a W-2 employee position.
Independent contractors:
- May accept or decline offered cleaning accounts.
- Control the methods and manner in which the work is performed while meeting each customer's cleaning specifications.
- Provide their own tools, equipment, and cleaning supplies.
- May perform services for other customers or companies.
