Solutions Healthcare is seeking Senior Admissions Professionals with a strong sense of sales for our Port Saint Lucie admissions team. We are a seeking self-starting, driven, motivated, and experienced sales representative to add to our growing team! This position includes handling complex leads that require an strong voice on the other end for encouragement overcoming potentially traveling, financial hurdles, or overall willingness of commitment to better their lives. As a Senior Admissions Representative, you will perform in a leading role in our admissions process, leveraging your experience to handle complex cases and secure admissions for mental health and substance abuse treatment. You'll serve as a key resource for the admissions team, guiding them through challenges and ensuring a high standard of service from initial contact to client admission.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Management & Prioritization: You will be the first point of contact for inbound paid media leads from the call center. You will also prioritize complex cases, such as those with out-of-network (OON) insurance or utilizing self-pay resources, and assign tasks to other representatives as needed.
- Senior Capabilities: You will build rapport and directly communicate with clients, family members, and other parties to facilitate admissions. This includes explaining insurance benefits, collecting deductibles or out-of-pocket costs, and navigating financial requirements for self-pay clients.
- Mentorship & Support: Act as a go-to resource for Admissions Representatives, providing them with guidance and support on difficult cases.
- Travel Coordination: Arrange and track travel plans for incoming admissions, keeping the client, facility, and DOA informed of all details.
- Administrative Support: Maintain accurate documentation in our EMR systems (SalesForce) and other communication threads. Ensure all files accurately reflect the current status of the admissions process, from "Pending Verification" to "Admitted Inpatient/Outpatient." You will also be responsible for alerting facilities of any specific client needs, such as medical requirements or special requests.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year experience in behavioral health admissions or equivalent in a sales related field
- Ability to pass a Level II background screening & urine analysis test
- Availability to work night time and/or weekend shifts if needed
