We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to support our administrative and financial operations. This position plays a key role in keeping our office running efficiently while assisting with bookkeeping and business reporting functions.
Position Overview
The Office Administration & Light Bookkeeping position is responsible for supporting daily office operations, assisting with bookkeeping tasks, maintaining financial records, and providing administrative support to management. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable working with numbers while helping ensure smooth day-to-day business operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to management and various departments
- Work closely with the company's bookkeeper on financial and accounting-related tasks
- Perform light bookkeeping and data entry
- Assist with accounts receivable and collections
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate business records
- Monitor and track product margins and profitability
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting
- Prepare customer statements and account summaries
- Monitor cash flow and assist with financial tracking
- Support inventory management, reporting, and record accuracy
- Maintain organized files, documentation, and office records
- Assist with month-end reporting and special projects
- Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of administrative, bookkeeping, accounting, or office management experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with accounting or bookkeeping software preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Experience in a manufacturing, automotive, or inventory-based environment is a plus
