The Wesley Peachtree Group, CPAs is a regional boutique CPA firm providing accounting, auditing, and consulting services to nonprofit organizations, higher education institutions, churches, and small businesses. We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Financial Reports & Document Production Associate to support the preparation of professional financial reports and client deliverables.
Position Summary
This position is responsible for preparing, formatting, editing, proofreading, and producing professional financial reports and other client documents. The ideal candidate possesses advanced Microsoft Word skills, strong Microsoft Excel proficiency, exceptional typing accuracy, outstanding written communication and editing skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
This role requires someone who takes pride in producing polished, publication-ready documents while working efficiently under deadlines. Success in this position depends on accuracy, organization, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities.
- Create polished, professional reports using Microsoft Word by combining content from Word, Excel, PDF, and other source documents.
- Demonstrate strong Microsoft Excel skills by preparing schedules and accurately embedding or linking spreadsheets, charts, and tables into Word documents.
- Coordinate revisions with accounting professionals and efficiently incorporate edits while meeting production deadlines.
- Prepare reports for electronic distribution and printed presentation, including final assembly and binding when required.
- Assist with maintaining the firm's document management and filing systems.
- Provide administrative and operational support on special projects and other assignments as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word is required, including experience creating and formatting complex documents.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent typing skills with a high level of speed and accuracy.
- Exceptional proofreading, grammar, punctuation, and editing skills.
- Demonstrated experience formatting complex financial, legal, technical, or professional reports.
- Experience embedding and linking Excel schedules, charts, and tables into Microsoft Word while maintaining formatting integrity..
- Experience working in an accounting firm, financial services, legal, nonprofit, or other professional services environment is preferred.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, communications, English, office administration, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
