SUMMARY:
The position of Envirothon Coach initiates and supervises all activities of the Envirothon team for each grade level.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The employee will be required to perform any other position-related duties requested by Principal.
1. Plan and supervise the students’ activities during the before-school study sessions.
2. Assist the team in preparation for the Chester County Envirothon Competition.
3. Research, prepare and acquire teaching materials on the various Study Topics.
4. Identify experts on the Study Topics and arrange for them to meet with the students, bring specimens or other materials, and explain in greater detail in the areas of their expertise.
5. Arrange field trips to parks, nature centers, gardens and/or arboretums to allow the students to see and learn with specimens in the field.
6. Arrange transportation for the students for field trips.
