Fish River Rural Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and a National Health Service Corp (NHSC) approved site. NHSC-approved sites are healthcare facilities that provide outpatient, ambulatory, and primary health services in Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs), which are communities with limited access to care. The NHSC is a Federal government program that offers financial and other support to Corps Members.

The clinic offers the latest treatment technology, including electronic health records integrated with comprehensive healthcare services.
