Sweet Seoul is a Veteran-owned food truck serving Korean-inspired street food and gourmet cheesecakes throughout Southeast Wisconsin. We are hiring seasonal Food Truck Assistant for our 2026 season running mid-April through October, possibly into November weather permitting. We already have someone to work our Kenosha events but we’re looking for someone to cashier at our Muskego events and also someone to be a full on truck member for weekday events in Racine and possibly Kenosha. On weeks where we don’t have weekday events, helping prep the truck at our shared kitchen space in Oak Creek is available.
This position pays $16 per hour plus shared tips between assistants, which typically pushes total earnings into the $25 per hour range or more depending on event volume. Hours per week will range from 10-30 hours a week.
When applying, please specify if you are interested in Muskego only or to be a food truck member for everywhere.
This person should have basic culinary experience or a strong interest in learning, be comfortable prepping food for events, and be able to work efficiently in a small, fast-paced kitchen environment.
The main role is to operate the register and serving window. This role requires someone who is welcoming, energetic, and enjoys interacting with customers. You will handle transactions, ensure order accuracy, and help maintain smooth service flow. The ability to assist with minor food prep is a plus.
Candidate must be comfortable working in a compact food truck kitchen where summer temperatures can be warm and fast-paced conditions are common. Dependability is critical — we need team members who can attend every scheduled event. The truck does have one jump seat available, but ideally assistants can meet the truck at event locations.
Employees will be provided with an apron to wear at our events. You will also receive a free meal during the event or to take home.
If you’re hardworking, dependable, and interested in being part of a growing local food business, we’d love to connect with you.
